What does facilitate mean?
Faciliate means to"make easy".
It is my job as your rhythm facilitator
to make it easy for you to play any
of the world percussion instruments
instantly even if you have no prior experience.

What will I learn?
You will learn how to hit your drum
to achieve sound. I will teach you
basic rhythms through fun musical games
and exercises as well as educate on
 why and how the drum is used in daily life.

Do I need my own drum?
African Djembe hand drums are provided
on a first come first serve basis and
are avaialble in limited supply along
with dozens of hand percussion from around
the world. You may also bring your own
hand percussion instrument.

What are the rules in a rhythm event?
First rule is come with no expectations. This
program is diverse and serves folks of all skill levels.
2nd, No hand jewelry on drum rentals.
Third, is to please do not play whileI am talking.
Last but not least is just to have FUN!

What if I have health issues?
Hand Drumming is great for stress related
and mentally challenging health related issues.
Those with issues in your hands, neck or back and other
health related concerns may choose a hand percussion
appropriate for you .
Hands may at times feel soar after playing the drum.

How can I use this program in my future?
Experiencing a rhythm event will help give you
the basic knowledge to allow you to participate
in similar circles anywhere internationally
as well as providing the basic know-how to
apply the principles of rhythm making at home.
Once touched by a rhythm event, you will see all
music through a different eye.
